A Rogue Valley town built around the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, which has run since 1935 and draws several hundred thousand people a year.

Lithia Park was designed by John McLaren, who also designed Golden Gate Park.
Mineral water still runs from fountains in the plaza, and it tastes as bad as visitors expect.
