Cascade Locks, Oregon

A Columbia Gorge town named for the navigation locks built in 1896 to get boats past the rapids.

The Bridge of the Gods crosses to Washington here, and the Pacific Crest Trail crosses with it.
The locks were drowned by Bonneville Dam in 1938.
