A coastal town built around what it calls the world's smallest navigable harbor, six acres of water inside a rock channel.

Gray whales feed offshore year round and the town calls itself the whale watching capital of the Oregon coast.
The harbor entrance is fifty feet wide.
The bridge over it was designed by Conde McCullough in 1927.
