Siletz, Oregon

A Coast Range town on the Siletz River, and the seat of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians.

The tribes were terminated in 1956 and restored in 1977, the second tribe in the country to regain recognition.
The Nesika Illahee Pow-Wow is held each August.
The river is known for salmon and steelhead.
